We created UGC content during a 10-night stay at an Airbnb in Hiriketiya, on the south coast of Sri Lanka.

Although this was not a paid collaboration, the property offered the perfect setting to practice hospitality-focused content creation and further develop our travel UGC portfolio through authentic visual storytelling.

The context

This self-initiated project was created to:

  • improve our ability to capture Airbnb and hospitality spaces
  • practice creating lifestyle-focused travel content
  • develop an objective perspective on our visual work
  • build portfolio content aligned with boutique stays and vacation rentals

We stayed in the first-floor apartment for 10 nights, allowing us to experience the property naturally and document the atmosphere over time.

What we created

During this stay, we produced:

  • Short-form video content (Reels format)
  • Edited interior and lifestyle photos
  • Raw content for future creative use
  • Atmosphere-driven visuals
  • Shots highlighting architecture, light and guest experience

The content focused on creating a natural and immersive representation of the stay.
